Proxychains through SSH Tunnel

Something I've had to do for years and never document it. Now I'm documenting it. This is on Ubuntu but you can adjust for CentOS (my previous setup was CentOS)

yum -y install proxychains

Now you can edit /etc/proxychains.conf and adjust the list of ports down the bottom. You can create ~/proxychains/proxychains.conf however it didn't listen to this file when I set it up and -f is apparently deprecated.

To use it, do the following:

proxychains gnome-terminal
curl icanhazip.com
